Hello...
I’m Adele the owner of Beautiful Little Moments. I am a specialist baby photographer & mum to my 4-year old daughter.
I work part-time whilst trying to balance motherhood & my business and I love doing what I do.
My daughter attends nursery a few days a week to allow me time to photograph babies and create beautiful pieces of art for families to treasure.

On the days I'm not working you can find me hanging out with my daughter or having other mum friends round for playdates. As the mum to a 4 year old, getting out and about both keeps me sane and Emilie entertained and I absolutely love exploring where we live, here in Surrey.
I am mostly known for enjoying a good natter and a little bit of cake (and a lot of coffee) and occasionally a cheeky G&T with a slice of lime. My guilty pleasure is a bit of X-factor which drives my husband nuts and I'm always turning the thermostat up just after he's turned it down. I'm definitely a morning person (thanks to the aforementioned coffee) and I love a cold crisp morning with a bright blue sky.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY...
Past clients mostly appreciate my patience when it comes to their shoots. Not all newborns sleep just when we'd hope and I know that, I've been there and the last thing I want is for mum to be stressed at a time when we're about to record some of the most precious moments of her life. I choose to go with the flow. At this age a newborn runs the schedule and there's nothing at all we can do... well... other than eating cake. I never schedule more than one shoot in a day and that gives the flexibility to work to a tiny person's demands.
Parents also love how much I take their little ones privacy and health & safety seriously. If you don't want your photographs to be used online then I will not use them. If you are happy for me to use your portraits in my portfolio I will never name your baby or tag you, they will remain anonymous. You always get to choose! Your little one's safety is always of utmost importance during the sessions. If I don't think baby is comfortable then I will never proceed, babies, comfort and safety always come first.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
There is truly nothing more fulfilling than being there to capture the most beautiful moments in life. It's such a privilege to be there and I do not take such responsibility lightly. I care more than my clients know about the images I create. My heart and soul is poured into each and every photograph to be sure that I create the best memories which in time will tell the story of a beautiful little life.
WHEN WE MEET
I like for both you and your baby to be happy & relaxed. The temperature is fine-tuned for your babies comfort and there’s plenty of refreshments & a comfy sofa for you.
If this job has taught me anything it's that every baby is different. At the session, I work in response to your baby, if they need to feed I stop. If they’re getting at all distressed and need their mummy, I’ll stop. The session is all about you and your baby and that is what is at the centre of all my sessions and my focus throughout.
What if my baby won’t settle? This is a question many new parents worry about. Please don’t worry about this. We have options. Many babies will have a preference for how they like to settle.
Whichever preference your baby may have we can work with it. If there is something obviously causing your baby great distress on the day and s/he won’t settle at all we can re-schedule. So please don’t have any anxiety about this. This is part of my job, to help settle and soothe, together with your help I am certain that most babies will calm and settle given a little time.
Many parents comment on how amazed they are by how I can settle and soothe their newborn and often ask for tips.
The techy bit…
I’m a professional photographer with many years experience under my belt. I have a full-frame Canon 5D camera accompanied by a whole range of professional lenses. I also have an array of newborn photography wraps & props to suit a range of tastes.
I have received extensive training in the safety of posing newborn babies and I would ask that you never try to recreate any poses on your own at home because your baby really does need to be safe.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Not only am I well trained and experienced behind the lens I am also an experienced editor of photographs. I love the process of turning a photograph into artwork and my digital retouching ranges from covering up those dark circles under exhausted eyes to creating a piece of beautiful artwork that you’d love to have printed on canvas and hung around your home. I spend days after your initial shoot perfecting your images, a lot of love care and attention goes in to each and every image in your gallery.
