I think this gorgeous girl has made me re-think my session options!
I absolutely loved photographing this 12-week old using the older baby “sitter” set up.
The main difference between this session type and the Simply Baby option is that babies are dressed in outfits rather than being swaddled/naked
and the background is all timeless and white rather than using the coloured backdrop fabrics that I use in the Simply Baby sessions.
Babies have time for an outfit change (or several, if the longer session is booked). I have a rail of outfits you can use or you’re welcome to bring your own! A simple white vest would look lovely and classic too.
Also mum and dad can be in as many or as few of the images as they’d like or as baby needs.
The session is quick and easy and parents are more involved than the newborn sessions as I have them just off at the side to help baby feel safe and settled (parents often stay over on the sofa during a newborn session whilst I wrap and pose on the beanbag, so still close by but less involved).
Oh and one last thing…. you get more images! Because the babies are posed less, it frees me up to shoot more, so there is a greater variety of images from the session and the editing time is quicker, so you get a bigger gallery!
If you have a baby who isn’t sitting yet and would be interested in this sort of session please do get in touch.
