Newborn Baby Boy Photo shoot | Epsom Surrey

I had this absolutely gorgeous newborn baby boy in the studio for a newborn photo shoot recently. Isn’t he adorable?

For this portrait session, I used some gorgeous new wraps and bonnets, and a gorgeous new baby bear!

We tried out some new darker colours in this session in greys, blues and browns.

Most often mums request lighter colours for their newborn baby portraits and I can totally understand why but it was nice to experiment with darker colours for this shoot and I love how they turned out. I’m totally in love with these darker colours, so rich and lush. Baby almost pops off the print in contrast to the deep dark background.

We also used some lighter and softer colours and fabrics for a more traditional airy, soft set of portraits.

This rustic white wooden bowl is one of my favourite new purchases. I absolutely love it! If you’d like to have a browse of some of the wraps and props I have available there’s a gallery here.

I love photographing little feet. So tiny and new.

This little boy was an absolute dream and we got his session wrapped up pretty quickly as he slept the whole way through.
